Future Addictions LLC is committed to making futureaddictions.com accessible to all visitors, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What We Do
- Use semantic HTML with proper heading structure, labels, and landmark regions
- Maintain sufficient color contrast throughout the Site
- Support keyboard navigation and provide visible focus indicators
- Include descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Provide skip links to bypass navigation
- Use ARIA attributes for interactive elements (lesson tools, collapsible sections, progress indicators)
- Test with automated accessibility tools and conduct periodic manual reviews
Conformance Status
Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Some areas of the Site may not yet fully meet this standard. Accessibility is an ongoing effort and we continuously review and improve as the site evolves.
Known Limitations
- Third-party embeds: Some third-party content (Facebook group embed, payment forms) may not be fully accessible. We provide alternatives on request.
- PDFs: Some downloadable workbooks may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Contact us for an accessible alternative format.
- Older content: Legacy pages may have issues we haven't yet addressed.
